Cardo raw Honey

CARDO (Carduus sp.)

 

Produced in Palermo in June and July.

Color: light amber when it is liquid tending to ocher when it crystallizes. Crystallization: Spontaneous some months after harvest, uniform crystals. Odor: very fragrant.

Taste: just as strong as the smell.

Uses: It has purified liver properties.
